The graphics and sound have been greatly improved since the first game, making for a more immersive experience. There are also various side quests and mini-games to keep the player entertained. The player controls a pokemon trainer who must travel across the land to capture and train pokemon. Pokemon black 2 gameplay is very similar to the first game.
